Omid B. Mehdizadeh, M.D., is an Otolaryngology, and Head & Neck (ENT) surgeon. Working in the Pacific Eye, Ear & Skull Base Center at PNI, his expertise is in voice, swallowing and throat conditions. He received his medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine. Following his training, he was awarded a research fellowship with world renowned voice and swallowing expert, Dr. Peter C. Belafsky, MD, PhD. He completed a five-year ENT residency at NYU and further realized his passion in laryngology when treating world-class singers under the guidance of Dr. Milan Amin. He returned to UC Davis to expand his expertise in complex voice and swallowing disorders while conductinga fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Belafsky, where he published numerous peer reviewed articles focusing on the advanced
treatment of swallowing disorders.
Scott Kaiser, M.D., a board-certified family physician and geriatrician, is the Director of Geriatric Cognitive Health and provides specialty geriatric medical consultations at the Pacific Brain Health Center. He received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and went on to train within the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency. Later, he joined the Harvard Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, and completed additional fellowship training within UCLA?s Primary Care and Health Services Research Fellowship. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, including novel research on the impact of combined exercise and memory training on cognitive function. He works to provide an integrated and holistic approach to the cognitive challenges older patients face. With this ?whole person? approach, he connects patients and their families with a broad range of resources to support their overall health and well-being.
